Manipur Distress Relief: An Appeal & Report

In the wake of recent ethnic disturbances & ensuing violence, thousands of people have been internally displaced within Manipur. They have been rendered helpless & homeless, with houses burnt, property destroyed, and forced to leave their own homesteads. They have literally become Refugees in their own State and are facing extreme hardships even for their basic essential needs. More than 50,000 people have been displaced and are currently being sheltered in makeshift relief camps, numbering over 300.
